Here's How to Up-Level Your Next Vacation

Do you want to know my secret for taking your next travel experience to the next level?

It's all about adding the cherry on top.

When I ask prospective clients where they want to go next, I get many common responses: Chile, South Africa, Peru, etc.

Tip: Consider adding an "exclamation point" to your trip. Push yourself to find a nearby destination that will turn a great vacation into one that gives you goosebumps.

These are all wonderful destinations, don't get me wrong.

But I don't just aim to please. I want to give you the goosebumps.

So if you're planning to visit Chile, why not add an extension to Easter Island, the remotest inhabited island on earth?

A South African safari is on the agenda? Consider adding a few extra days in Namibia, the hidden gem of the continent.

Machu Picchu was recently declared one of the new 7 Wonders of the World and it pairs perfectly with a week in the Galapagos Islands of neighboring Ecuador.

I find that this strategy is the perfect exclamation point to an already memorable trip, and elevates it to something extraordinary (exclamation point!).

What do you think? Where are you headed next and how will you take it to the next level? As always, I'd love to hear from you in the comments.

Until then,
Keep exploring...
